Professional armies attempt to dehumanize the enemy in order to make it easier for young, inexperienced soldiers to kill them without hesitation or regret. Armies usually accomplish this by citing the horribly uncivilized behavior of "the enemy." Ironically, the American public makes it easy for terrorists to kill without hesitation or regret by dehumanizing itself with routine displays of its own horribly uncivilized behavior. Chicken Soup with the American voter.
According to this Huffington Post article 56,145,950 registered American voters attempted to install a charming, empathy deficient sociopath into our nation's highest office.
Could you people possibly dehumanize yourselves any more thoroughly?
Most people voted against romney, but hardly the landslide I'd expect if the public had an iota of common sense. Romney is a guy who ruins lives with the stroke of a pen and expects to be patted on the back for it. The fact that millions of ordinary working people don't see him for what he is should disturb you.
Too be perfectly fair here, I thought his concession speech was very good. I thought some decent person had taken over his body just to make that speech.
Let's focus on the positive- most people voted against the asshole, the Republicans lost bigtime, and weed is now legal.
